Blunder! Jokowi Clarifies Presidential Statement, Is It Acceptable?

It's a serious blunder when the presidential palace has to clarify President Jokowi's statements, and Jokowi himself has to provide clarification. The evidence from the palace reveals a growing panic as the electability of the candidate pair 02, with a controversial offspring, continuously declines. Undeniably, this has caused an unprecedented level of panic within the palace.

Jokowi made a blunder by clarifying his own statement, garnering a predominantly negative reaction from the Indonesian public. This blunder is attributed to panic, a common cause for such mistakes when individuals are under pressure. My question is, what is causing President Jokowi to feel pressured?

Is it because he is concerned about the people? It seems not, as he has taken actions seemingly beyond his capabilities, attempting to appear neutral when, in fact, he is anything but neutral.

President Joko Widodo once stated that civil servants and ministers should remain neutral. However, recently, he declared that the president is allowed to campaign, and even ministers are permitted to do so. If that's the case, can the chief commissioner of Pertamina also engage in campaigning?

For me, this is a fatal error committed by President Joko Widodo, who has been left behind by Thomas Lembong. It marks the beginning of the downfall of someone who is excessively arrogant and believes they can control many aspects, ignoring the fact that everyone has limitations and unique capabilities meant to complement each other, not to engage in futile competitions.

It is a fatal move for President Joko Widodo to clarify his own statement. The General Election Commission (KPU) has also emphasized that Jokowi must seek permission from the President before conducting any campaign activities.

From this, we can see how Ganjar Pranowo is a suitable figure to lead the country. He is not indecisive and remains firm. Ganjar Pranowo's strength lies in his ability to position himself and the nation with dignity.

Ganjar Pranowo stands for the collective goodness possessed by this nation. He does not resort to unconstitutional methods; instead, he adheres to constitutional avenues to establish himself as a leader for the country.

Is such panic acceptable? If feeling overwhelmed, it would be wise to step back, Mr. President. If you want to contribute, consider passing the torch to Ganjar Pranowo.
