Blown away by downstreaming, thought it was only Program 02, but Ganjar will expand downstreaming

Hey there! So, there's this ongoing debate for the 2024 presidential election, and it's been quite a ride! We're already at the fourth stage, with just one more debate left on February 4th, 2024. The hope is that these debates will help voters make their decisions before the big voting day on February 14th, 2024.

Throughout these debates, there have been some new terms and knowledge thrown around. Like this one acronym, SGIE (State of the Global Islamic Economy), that Samsul used to trap and tease Cak Imin. And the latest one is "greenflation," which Samsul used in his not-so-polite way to belittle Prof. Mahfud. These terms have become quite the talk during the debates.

Now, let's talk about "hilirisasi." According to the Kamus Besar Bahasa Indonesia (KBBI), hilirisasi is the process of turning raw materials into finished products. It's all about adding value to a product or commodity by making it more complex or increasing its value.

The goal of hilirisasi is to boost the economic value of a product by creating more diverse, high-quality, and marketable products. It also helps create job opportunities, reduce dependence on imports, and enhance a country's competitiveness.

Now, here's the funny part. Because the term "hilirisasi" has been mentioned so often by candidate 02 during the debates, some of my friends and relatives got all mesmerized by it. They started thinking that hilirisasi was just a program of candidate 02. It even became a joke, like whenever candidate 02 faced any problem, the solution was always "hilirisasi," hehehe.

But here's the thing, candidate 03, Ganjar Mahfud, also has a hilirisasi program in their vision and mission. If they win the 2024 presidential election, they plan to continue the hilirisasi program. And it's not just about the mining sector, especially nickel. Ganjar Mahfud aims to expand hilirisasi to other sectors as well.

In their vision and mission document, Ganjar and Mahfud talk about hilirisasi in natural resources, mining, plantations, agriculture, fisheries, and marine sectors. They want to create high-value end products by focusing on the upstream industry and implementing the TKDN (Tingkat Komponen Dalam Negeri) policy.

For example, in the plantation sector, they believe that palm oil can be used for more than just producing CPO and biodiesel. It can also be processed into pharmaceutical and cosmetic products. So, there's a lot of potential for hilirisasi in various sectors that we should explore.

So, it's a big mistake to think that hilirisasi is only candidate 02's program. If we're talking about a program like free lunch with a whopping budget of 450 trillion per year, well, that's something only candidate 02 has, hehehe.

Sending love for our beloved NKRI (Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia)! 🇮🇩
